The form and gentleness of this center bring, to mind’s eye, an abstract image of an angel in flight. There is nothing abstract, however, about the image beneath. In combining the two images we’ve created a neck piece representing an angel above our crucified Jesus.
This necklace is one of a series. This series is offered in various gemstones but only one is created in each stone. Prices vary accordingly.
Moonstone
A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
Revelation 12:1-3
Moonstone is so named because in it’s opaque reflection, it bears resemblance to the moon. Our use of moonstone, in this piece, is in honor of Mary.
Red moonstone, Swarovski crystal, Hearts and Scrolls bronze crucifix (cast from an antique crucifix from the Philippines), 19th century scroll center and Grecian closure are accented with Swarovski crystal.
Measures 18" not including 3 1/2" drop.
A portion of the proceeds, from the sale of our rosaries, will be donated to "La Casa de los Ninos," (Heart of Mercy House), a residential community of children and youth living with HIV/AIDS. La Casa was founded, and is lovingly operated by the Sisters of Mercy.
